How did your career develop after your studies at IGC?

After graduation, I found a job in a start-up in Berlin and then switched to a mid-range company and have been working there ever since.


In which position do you work now?

I work in a consultancy firm called Guidehouse as a Human Capital Associate in Berlin.


What are your career goals?

My career goal is to become a skilled HR professional and work in a top multinational company. I have not yet achieved it. But definitely on my way.


In what way do your studies help you to achieve your career goals?

From my studies at IGC, I have definitely learned many things, but most importantly I have learned how global businesses and corporations function and how I can set myself up for my career in this global corporate world.


Anuja Shedbale from India (Intake 2018)

How did your career develop after your studies at IGC?

I got into the Business development field after my MBA at IGC. I could explore a different career field due to the subjects taught at IGC and I am quite happy with it! I secured two internships in business development during my course and that created a base for my career in the field.


Where do you work now?

I work as a Venture Lead and Business Development Associate with a Munich-based digital health company.


What are your career goals?

My career goal is to carve out a niche for myself in the digital health industry. Even if there is still a long way to go, I am definitely moving in that direction!


In what way do your studies help you to achieve your career goals?

I believe I have a better understanding of the business side of things thanks to my MBA at IGC. My solid foundation to think like a business and not just as an employee came from taking classes like Strategic Management and Business Ethics, in particular. Additionally, the input my professors gave me on my Master's thesis has substantially improved my understanding of customer experience, which is important in my current work.

How did your career develop after your studies at IGC?

After doing my studies I got a good internship from Europe’s biggest ticketing company Eventim.


Where do you work now?

I am currently working as a content creator for an advertising agency.


What are your career goals?

My career goals are to start my own company in creative media & digital marketing. I already built my own YouTube channel where I have created 100 episodes so far.


In what way do your studies help you to achieve your career goals?

The practical training at IGC helped me to learn various new topics. There were industrial visits and during my studies we also had a chance to see the European Court of Justice and Eurostat. I also got a chance from IGC to present my paper at a University in Athens, Greece.
