Mercedes-Benz Plant Bremen

The Mercedes-Benz plant in the Seebaldsbrück district is the largest private employer in Bremen and the lead plant for the C-Class. Each year, up to 400,000 vehicles are produced here in ten models - including electric vehicles - with the star on the hood. The large company employs around 12,500 people.

Airbus Group

Bremen is the second largest Airbus Commercial site in Germany and is responsible for the design, manufacture, integration and testing of the high-lift systems for the wings of Airbus aircraft. The second resident Airbus division “Defence and Space” develops and manufactures fuselage sections and cargo loading systems for military transport aircraft. Together with the Airbus companies ArianeGroup, Testia and Premium Aerotec, the Bremen site is unique among Airbus and employs around 5,000 people. The site is a center of excellence for space transportation, manned space flight and space robotics and is responsible, among other things, for the operation of the European components of the International Space Station ISS.

BLG Logistics Group

BLG Logistics is an internationally active seaport and logistics service provider with almost 100 locations in Europe, America, Africa and Asia. Its headquarters is in Bremen, where the Neustadt port, which ranks as the largest terminal for general cargo in Europe, offers optimal connections to the European road, rail and waterway networks. The Group has 5,000 employees at its Bremen site.

Atlas Elektronik

The maritime high-tech company Atlas Elektronik specializes in hydroacoustics, sensor technology and information technology and supplies marine and civil customers worldwide. As a specialist in underwater acoustics, the company is even the market and technology leader in many areas. The Bremen site, where its headquarters are located, employs 1,400 people.

ArcelorMittal Bremen

ArcelorMittal Bremen produces more than 3.6 million tons of steel per year, from pig iron production to sheet processing, for various customers in the automotive and construction industries, the packaging market, mechanical engineering or the household appliance industry. The site, located directly on the lower reaches of the River Weser in the north of the city, employs 3,000 people.

Anheuser-Busch InBev Germany

Anheuser-Busch InBev is the world's largest brewing company and the parent company of the Bremen brewery Beck & Co, where the well-known Beck's beer is produced. The administrative headquarters of Anheuser-Busch InBev Germany is in Bremen. Of the approximately 2,700 employees in Germany, 1,400 work in Bremen.
