Who can join?
We are looking for participants who believe in the power of human connection and want to train themselves in leadership, communication, and collaboration. No prior hiking experience is required, but participants should be in good health, as daily walks will range from 2.5 to 4.5 hours.

This course was transformative. If you seek deep connection and personal growth, this is the experience for you.

This rate includes:
- the study program and teacher(s)

- 7 nights in ho(s)tels/pensions/apartments and breakfast if included in the room price

Refund policy
We understand that plans can change. Participants are eligible for a full refund of their registration fee up to six (6) weeks prior to the start date of the Walk to Understanding (before July 18, 2025).
1. Refund requests must be submitted in writing (via email to the organizers: miriam@academyofunderstanding.com) and send no later than July 17, 2025.
2. No refunds will be issued after the six-week cutoff date. Except in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to medical reasons or other pressing personal emergencies. The participant must submit a formal written request along with supporting documentation (e.g., a medical certificate or other relevant evidence) as soon as reasonably possible. Each case will be reviewed individually.
3. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the approved request.
Insurance Policy
All participants in the Walk to Understanding are responsible for arranging their own insurance coverage. This includes, but is not limited to:
1. Personal accident insurance
2. Medical coverage for walking-related injuries
3. Travel insurance
4. Liability coverage
Please ensure your insurance policy covers walking/hiking activities in Spain, as the organizers of the Walk to Understanding IGC do not provide accident, injury, or health coverage for participants.
By registering for the Walk to Understanding IGC, participants acknowledge and accept full responsibility for their own insurance arrangements and personal safety.
