Logistics and Supply Chain Management connect markets and people. Located in one of the leading logistics hubs in Germany, the Hochschule Bremen offers the specialization International Logistics/Supply Chain Management. Students will learn to design, analyze, and control logistics networks and the related processes from inbound/procurement logistics to international transport. The maritime sector plays an important role in the program, and in the region. Project management will be introduced as the indispensable tool for successful logistics managers. Schwellenländer bieten einerseits attraktive neue Märkte und interessante Outsourcing-Möglichkeiten für internationale Unternehmen, stellen aber andererseits die heutigen Manager auch vor besondere Herausforderungen. In der Spezialisierung ‘Management in Emerging Markets’ des Insitute of Business Studies (IBS) der Russian Presidential Academy (RANEPA) werden die Studenten zu internationalen Managern mit dem Schwerpunkt ‚Management und Geschäftsprinzipien in Schwellenländern‘ ausgebildet. Das Praxisorientierte Masterprogramm stützt seine theoretischen Grundlagen auf Studien aus der Industrie und Unternehmen, um den Transfer in die Businesswelt zu gewährleisten. Die Module decken Themengebiete wie makro- und mikroökonomische Problemstellungen in den Schwellenländern, die Schlüsselrolle des FDIs und Investmentmöglichkeiten in den Schwellenländern ab. Ebenso werden den Studierenden kulturell zugeschnittene Führungsstile und die Besonderheiten bestimmter Branchen in den aufstrebenden Volkswirtschaften vermittelt.
Die Professoren der IBS haben langjährige fundierte Erfahrungen, kennen die wirtschaftlichen Herausforderung in Schwellenländern und sind meist noch selbst in ihrem Fachgebiet in der Praxis tätig.

About full-time MBA-programs

Postgraduate programs leading to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) are open to young professionals who have already earned their first degrees. Students build on skills and knowledge they have already acquired in their prior studies and professional life. MBA programs cover the chosen field in-depth, requiring theoretical knowledge in the field of business or economics and dealing with practice-oriented applications. All full-time MBA degree courses of the International Graduate Center are taught solely in English.
