Dr. Stephen Hill is a native of Alabama, he received his doctorate in Operations Management from the University of Alabama in 2008. He also holds degrees in Civil Engineering, also from the University of Alabama. At UNCW, Dr. Hill teaches courses in predictive analytics, descriptive analytics, and sports analytics. He has received several awards in recognition of his teaching. His research focuses on applications of analytics in a variety of areas including sports and healthcare. He enjoys traveling, photography, and sports (especially college football).
Björgvin Magnússon is part of the German Leadership team of KPMG's Lighthouse, Center of Excellence. As Head of Data Driven Services (DDS) he is responsible for building and leading digital products based on KPMG's Digital Platforms such as SOFY Suite, Igniteor Signals Repository.
Björgvin has more than eighteen years of professional experience in Data & Analytics (D&A), Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Technology, ERP Advisory and IT Auditing for national and international clients from different industries. He advises clients all the way from GRC and D&A Strategy to the implementation and rollout of their GRC and D&A solutions.
