QS Global MBA Ranking: IGC again among Europe's top universities

This year, for the second time in a row, IGC has been ranked in the prestigious QS Global MBA Ranking. Only the world's best full-time MBA programs are included in this ranking. A total of 340 programmes were considered this year.

IGC's International MBA (Dual Degree) program was ranked 76th among European institutions. Of the German universities represented in the ranking, IGC is in 6th place. This prestigious recognition is the result of the accreditation of the IGC program by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development). The accreditation in 2022 was a prerequisite for inclusion in the ranking.

"Positioning even slightly improved"

Prof. Dr. Frank Fürstenberg, Program Director of the International MBA (Dual Degree): "We are very pleased to be included in the QS Global MBA Ranking again this year and to have even slightly improved our position. The International MBA at the International Graduate Center of Hochschule Bremen continues to be an excellent program. Nevertheless, we are looking to the future: we will continue to develop our IMBA program with the expertise and commitment of the entire team.”

QS Global MBA Ranking honors the best MBA programs worldwide

The QS Global MBA Ranking, published as part of the QS World University Rankings, is an annual publication by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, a UK-based provider of services to the global higher education sector. It recognizes the world's best MBA programs based on survey data. The basic requirement for consideration is accreditation of the institution or program by one of the international accreditation organizations AACSB, AMBA and EFMD (EQUIS).

MBA programs are evaluated on the basis of five key indicators:

  • Employability
  • Return on Investment
  • Entrepreneurship and Alumni Outcomes
  • Thought Leadership
  • Class & Faculty Diversity
