International Graduate Center

IGC Teaching Award for

Dr. Thomas Braumann

We are extremely proud to be able to announce that Dr. Thomas Braumann has been conferred with the International Graduate Center's Teaching Award for excellent teaching in the International Master of Buisness Administration (IMBA) in the winter semester 2010/2011.

The IMBA-program is a dual-degree master's program and Dr. Braumann has been teaching International Leadership in English not only in the core modules of the program in the first term, but also in the specialization in the second term since 2005.

This annual award is based on the results of regular student evaluations and it is the very first time that the International Master of Business Administration presents this award to a teaching staff member.

Dr. Braumann holds a PhD in Biochemistry and is the owner of a management consulting in Bremen. He can look back on many years of professional experience in the management field as a CEO with the Frosta company in Bremerhaven and as a operations director with Rothmans International for the Asian and Pacific area, only to name a few.

Our IMBA students have been able to benefit from his vast experience and special expertise and Dr. Braumann has prepared them thoroughly for their future leading positions in the international business sector.

We are happy with him for receiving this certificate as a mark of distinction and quality of teaching and are looking forward to further successful semesters of lecture.
