Philosophy
The IGC guarantees a postgraduate education which satisfies both academic and job requirements in equal measure. With five full-time and three part-time Master programmes the IGC has among the largest range of courses of all Graduate Schools in Germany. Team oriented lectures and seminars in small groups with a maximum of 25 students facilitate a constructive dialog between the members. The IGC currently has some 200 students from more than 40 countries. The international network is strengthened by visiting lecturers from many of our international partner universities who offer courses, lectures and contribute to the intercultural competence of our students.
Top managers provide an insight into companies and fields of business
Many of our lecturers come from the management of top companies in Europe and will provide you with an insight into different companies and fields of business. The IGC is part of the International Business School Alliance (IBSA) with six Partner-Universities worldwide who successfully offer a unique Dual MBA programme. As a Graduate School of a public German University we regularly have the curricula accredited by an external accreditation agency (ZEvA) which is part of the European Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).
Planning your career – preparing for future management tasks
In the future more than ever, the specif c encouragement of leadership behaviour and social skills will be an element of the courses of study and this not only optimally prepares the graduates for an increasingly global economy, but it also ensures and sustainably in-creases their employability. The International Graduate Center em-bodies the optimal connection between practice-relevant leader-ship training and comprehensive management know-how. In both its conception and its additional international and intercultural focus, IGC is unique in its teaching in Germany in honing leadership qualities in managers and young professionals.Leadership and management for graduates of economics, technology, tourism and culture are the central elements of the IGC’s profile. Practical experience is guaranteed thanks to our lecturers from renowned businesses and the worth-while exchange of experiences between participants. International Masters courses take place in English with renowned guest lecturers from other countries. The Executive Education field is predominantly orientated towards managers who have many years of professional experience. The students have already proven their potential in a business and now want to be qualified to undertake extensive management tasks.
